After scanning your mouth with our digital iTero® scanner, our doctors use 3D modeling to plan each precise movement of your teeth. That plan is sent to the Invisalign lab, where a full series of custom trays is made just for you. You'll wear your aligners for 22 hours a day, switching to a new set every few weeks as your smile evolves. On average, treatment takes 12–18 months, though every patient's journey is unique. To keep your aligners looking their best (and your treatment on track), clean them at least twice a day — ideally at the same time you brush your teeth. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush, non-abrasive toothpaste, and lukewarm water. Store them in their case when you're not wearing them. A small travel care kit in your bag or pocket makes it easy to keep up on the go.
